Requirements: - Master's Degree (preferred) or Bachelor's Degree ideal.
- Must be familiar with writing federal and large foundation grants.
- Working knowledge and experience writing for the homeless population is ideal
- Good organizational, writing, and communication skills
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the needs of multi-cultural communities
Contract Bookeeper, Part TimeReports to - Executive Director Overview - SSIHC is looking for a contract bookkeeper to work between 8 and 10 hours per week. Duties and Responsibilities: - Pay bills by writing checks or entering in accounts payable and printing checks
- Enter automatic withdrawals and transfers
- Enter deposits
- Reconcile bank accounts each month
- Set up new accounts and edit existing accounts in Chart of Accounts
- Set up new "customers" and "vendors" and edit existing ones
- Make journal entries
- Designate 1099 vendors and issue 1099s at year end
- Modify reports
- Memorise reports and transactions
- Use "classes" to achieve desired reports
- Use the "Help" feature
- Make backups of working file
Requirements: - Full working knowledge of Quickbooks
- 2 years experience
