Silver Spring Interfaith Housing Coalition (SSIHC) builds on the strength of local congregations and the community to end homelessness by providing affordable housing, case management, resource access and mentoring support. Our affordable housing programs help to sustain healthy and diverse communities in Montgomery County where residents can learn from each other as they share their goals and dreams.

This prestigious Catalogue lists organizations that are vetted by a diverse, knowledgeable group of stakeholders throughout the community who know our region, its issues and the organizations and the work that is making a difference. Organizations are eligible for entry into the catalogue every four years. Silver Spring Interfaith Housing Coalition was included in the 2005/2006 Catalogue.We are proud that Silver Spring Interfaith Housing Coalition (SSIHC) has been selected, for the second time, to be in the 2009/2010 Catalogue for Philanthropy.
